
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1 cups hot water
1/4 cup oil
3 - 4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 tbsp instant yeast
Method:
1. Add hot water to sugar and oil and beat with electric mixer (or by hand).
2. Add eggs and salt; beat well.
3. When mixture is lukewarm, add yeast and keep beating.
4. Add flour until a soft dough forms. Do not knead.
5. Let rise in an oiled bowl, covered, for 1 hour.
6. Shape rolls and them in rows in pan, each nearly touching the other.
7. Cover and let rise for 30-45 minutes.
8. Bake at 180°C for 16-20 minutes.
9. Brush tops with melted butter, if desired. Let cool.
Makes 6-8 rolls.
